#MEAction knows losing telehealth will be a problem for many in our community and the wider disability community. Telehealth coverage increases access to care, improves health equity, and is more affordable than in-person care. We are asking you to urgently call your elected official to ask them to make telehealth permanent.

 

Don’t worry, we provide a very easy call script.

Here is a simple script to use when making a call (you can ask to be transferred to the person in charge of health policy or speak to whoever answers your call):

 

"Hi, this is { Your Name }. I am a constituent. 

 

"I’m calling to ask for your support in making expanded telemedicine permanent for Medicare. Telehealth is lifesaving for people with ME/CFS and other chronic diseases and disabilities, and it makes healthcare more equitable, accessible, and affordable.

"Thank you for your time and consideration."
