DISABLED PEOPLE ACROSS THE WORLD ARE SENDING OUT AN S.O.S.

Healthcare, research funding, accessibility and scientific infrastructures were already incredibly fragile for people with myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), Long COVID and disability communities. The ME community has already been deeply ignored and underserved for decades. Now, we are at risk of losing everything - our healthcare, our research funding, our access to services and information. Our community was on a precipice of new research opportunities after decades of waiting, and that is being threatened with cuts to ME research. We cannot let our ship sink. Too many lives are at stake. It’s time to send out our SOS signal.

#MillionsMissing 2025: SOS provides our community with concrete actions to take during these very choppy times (waters), we need your financial support!

#MEAction was created because the ME community was already sending out an SOS. Demanding that an organization come along to provide support, resources, and the tools to be agents of change in this ever changing tide! We were founded by two amazing women leaders and with your support we have since built a powerful force! We are known for our strength, our fortitude, and our ability to use our collective voice to send out a signal that better treatment for people living with ME is needed. And today, the signal is loud and clear: SOS! Save our Support Systems. Save our Science. Save Our Society.

#MEAction was built for times like this. Help support us as we continue to fight for this community. We will do everything in our power to save the sinking ship!

This year alone, we’ve brought our organizing experience to meet this moment:

Join #MEAction’s MillionsMissing 2025: SOS. Join our community in saving what matters to us most. Join in ensuring the work continues, donate today!
